Hi! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. It’s hard to
believe it’s December already. There will be a lot of celebrating, holiday
decorating, giving, and blessings going around. Especially for the Bears of
Blackrock, in the newest installment of the novella series set in the same
world as Ashwood Falls. I have the Black brothers (the bear Alpha’s sons) with
me today for a little Q&A. So pull up a chair and enjoy some eggnog and
Lia: Hi, guys. I’m just going to throw this question out there first thing. A Beary Sweet Holiday is Tiffany’s story. How do you feel about your sister mating?
Trey: The idea makes my bear growl and pace. But when I it was Holt… well I like the Healer.
Anthony: I still think Tiffany is too young. She’s only 24. However, I could ask for a better male than Holt to mate my sister and call brother.
Ryan: He has a pure heart. Besides, Tiff is a very smart and loving female.
Lia: What was Tiffany like growing up?
Trey: She bossy. She always followed me around and told me what to do.
Anthony: Ha. Because you were the bad child. You got into more trouble than she did. Tiff was a good baby.
Ryan: She was spoiled rotten and still demands to get her way. But we love her.
Lia: I bet the three of you helped spoil her. What was the most annoying thing she did?
Trey: Tell mom every time I did something. How is a guy supposed to explore and get into trouble with her around? (his gave a large grin)
Anthony: So we’ve established who the trouble maker of the family was. (dodged a slap from Trey) Tif was very noisy and curious. I developed anxiety over worrying about her.
Ryan: She had this look she’d give you that made you cave into her every time. I couldn’t say no.
Lia: What are you most proud of her for?
Trey: How she reached for her dream and made it happen.
Anthony: (nods) She has a passion for what she does. Not just with the café, but her friends and family as well.
Ryan: I second what they said. She has done so much in her short life and now runs a business. We love her and are proud of everything she does.
Lia: Aww. She is a very lucky female to have three great brothers. Thanks for talking with me today.
Tiffany and Holt’s story is told in A Beary Sweet Holiday.
You can find out more about the whole Black family in the series, Bears of Blackrock. The first three books are now available and are only 99 cents for limited time.
More about A Beary Sweet Holiday
The kitchen isn’t the only thing heating up this winter…
Tiffany Black, culinary artist and owner of Beary Sweets Café, is determined to make this year’s Winter Solstice celebration one to remember. Especially since it will also be the mating ceremony for her brother, Anthony, and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Connie. She wants everything to be perfect. Unfortunately, you can’t always get what you want. When she falls off a ladder in her café and breaks her ankle, she fears her plans are doomed. Until the sexy bear Healer, Holt, comes to the rescue—stirring up more than just recipes.
Mating has never been at the top of Holt’s to-do list, and he’s known Tiffany all her life. So when the mating urge slams into him after mending her ankle, he’s taken aback—unsure and intrigued at the same time. The girl he watched grow up is now a curvy, sensual woman, and his bear wants to claim her. He wants to claim her.
The stubborn female refuses to follow Healer’s orders and allow her ankle to heal, and she’s hell-bent on catering the winter celebrations. In order to do what needs to be done, she insists that he help her. Since it gives him an excuse to stay by her side, he’s all right with that. As they work side by side to make the Solstice unforgettable, their passions ignite, and things turn utterly delicious.
Heather Long’s Holiday Giveaway
As we go into the holiday season, I have been asking myself what I can do or how I can give to others. It has been a tough year for my family and a tough year for many families whether it is our soldiers fighting overseas, their families waiting at home, death in the families, divorces, economic hard times, cutthroat politicians trading on fear and hate and last, but most certainly not least tragedies such as those faced in Paris, Beirut, and many other places.
We are very familiar with the choke of the times. Here, I wanted to give something back this holiday season. Years ago, one of my local radio stations used to have write ins for people to nominate families for Christmas or holiday gift certificates. Nominated families or individuals included those who really were not going to have much to celebrate because they couldn’t afford gifts or decorations or a big Christmas meal.
Beginning today and lasting until December 18, I am hosting a holiday give away post featuring an item and the author who is giving it away. To enter, all someone has to do is nominate the person they want to send the gift to and post a short reason why. If that person wins, then the gift will be sent to the recipient with a note wishing them a happy holiday season signed from the author giving it away, me and of course the person who entered them.
So far, I have several authors and items pledged to this effort. Be sure to visit daily throughout the holiday season and nominate those you love and care about and send them a gift – and yes, I will send them around the world!
For a chance to win:
- Nominate the person you want to send that day’s gift to and a short reason as to why. (All entries in comments are counted toward final giveaways whether you use rafflecopter or not)
- For an extra entry, spread the word about this giveaway: Blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc. – leave a link in the comments.
- Leave your email with your comment ONLY IF it is NOT part of your profile.
- This giveaway is open to everyone for nominations, however you cannot enter yourself.
- You may only win one gift to send.
- Giveaways begin November today and run through December 18.
As a special edition to the giveaway, several of the authors have donated towards gift cards that will go to three lucky commentators for giving the gift of caring to someone else in their lives. Every time you nominate someone for a prize is an opportunity to be listed in this giveaway. The final winners will be announced on December 19, so be sure to watch for it!
Thank you to the readers for hanging out with me each day, even when I have nothing to say (which is far more often than I’d like!).
Lia’s got an awesome giveaway for you today. You can win the signed paperback of your choice and a non-paper swag pack for someone you care about. Who would you like to give this present to?
