Review: 13 to Life: A Werewolf’s Tale

13 to Life is that rare novel that captures your attention from the first page to the last and leaves you flipping the last page repeatedly looking for more words. It is a sinking feeling in your stomach when you realize there are no more words and you have to wait for the next book. Splendidly, there is a second book in the works! The Splendor Falls by Rosemary Clement-Moore

Everyone once and a while, you discover an extraordinary piece of prose. The work captivates your imagination with history, compelling characters, rich, vibrant settings and language so alluring that you cannot put it down. I do not review books often for the Daily Dose, but I really want to share this book with you. The argument is over the fact that Bran is hosting a summit with the Alphas of the European packs and Charles doesn’t […]

Mr. Darcy, Vampyre

In Sunday’s Snips and Clips I mentioned picking up Mr. Darcy, Vampyre and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I have always been a firm believer in don’t knock it until you tried it. So I started reading Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange and it was slow going at first. Pride and Prejudice: The Dark Sequel The novel is based on the premise that Fitzwilliam Darcy, the hero of Pride and Prejudice is also a vampyre. That’s obvious from the title. The book begins with Elizabeth Bennett’s wedding to Mr. Darcy a joint venture as her sister Jane is marrying […]
