Sunday Snips and Clips: Book Winner and More

What a great week this has been. I got to meet a lot of great ladies at the DFW Tea book club and discovered a really wonderful antique shop. I saw G.I. Joe and it didn’t suck. I got to meet Sherrilyn Kenyon and was wowed by her warm personality and innate cheerfulness. We even got into a debate about paranormal romance versus urban fantasy and the power of definitions. G.I. Joe: The Movie

G.I. Joe the movie opened on Friday August 7, 2009. After months of anticipation, the wait was over. I heard sometime in late 2007 that they were planning to make a G.I. Joe film. Based on the success of Transformers, everything old was cool again. I experienced a sick tingling sensation in the pit of my stomach at the news that the film would be made.
