Saturday Speculation: Gothic Horror and Romance

Gothic horror sounds like the antithesis of romance, but the dark and brooding genre is very appealing to fans of paranormal romance and urban fantasy. A very modern example of gothic horror on television is Supernatural. The show uses a mixture of the modern monster hunter versus the dark gothic horrors from ghosts to demons to vampires and more. A Strangely Beautiful Conversation with Leanna Renee Hieber

A short while back I read a review of The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker on Donna’s Fantasy Dreamer’s Ramblings blog. That review, along with a couple of others, really intrigued me about the book. To be honest, it was the title though. The title that I found to be an alluring invitation to my curiousity.
