Texas Gothic: Rosemary Clement Moore

I’ve never read a Rosemary Clement-Moore book that I didn’t love. A couple of years ago, The Splendor Falls was my favorite novel of the year and Texas Gothic is damn near as good as that book, though I admit to a personal bias for the tale in Splendor Falls, Amy Goodnight and Texas Gothic offer a rich, fascinating tale that I couldn’t put down.  My only quibble…I have to wait for another book from this fabulous author. Texas Gothic Amy Goodnight’s family is far from normal. She comes from a line of witches, but tries her best to stay […]

Daily Dose Holiday Blog Giveaway: Gothic Love

Welcome to day four of our holiday blog giveaway! I hope you are enjoying these giveaways as much as I am in coordinating them. Today’s giveaway is an autographed copy of Rosemary Clement Moore’s The Splendor Falls I called this book the best read of 2009. The Splendor FallsSylvie Davis is a ballerina who can’t dance. What broke her heart was her father’s death, and what’s breaking her spirit is her mother’s remarriage—a union that’s only driven an even deeper wedge into their already tenuous relationship. Uprooting her from […]

Spotlight On week continues with Rosemary Clement-Moore. I met her at a signing in Hurst, Texas a little over a month ago and picked up both her most recent release and her RITA winning Prom Dates are Hell. So totally worth the investment of time, let me tell you. I invited Rosemary to our spotlight on paranormal romance and fantasy authors week. She is such a great lady. If you haven’t read her books, be sure to check them out after this fun and funny interview. Prom Dates from Hell is just laugh out loud funny from the first page. […]

Sunday Snips and Clips: Emmys, Ritas and More

Dr Horrible wins Emmy for Short-format Live-Action Special Class. Nathan Fillion was tweeting away and posting pics like this one to the right. Always a fun thing to see for the fans! I have to confess, I’ve never actually seen Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog. I’ve heard tremendous things about it, but it’s just never been my cup of tea. Now, being a fan of Mr. Fillion and Mr. Whedon, I shall surely check this out at some point. I rather hope after looking at the picture to the right that Mr. Fillion gets another Emmy someday. He’s such a talented […]
