Sunday Snips & Clips: The End of February as We Know It

Can you believe that February is over? It feels like the new year just started and here we are trudging into March! While Northern and Midwest states may be used to that, in Texas – not so much. March is going to be a busy month here at the Daily Dose, I have a manuscript to finish writing and a host of YA authors coming to play for […]

Sunday Snips and Clips: Saying Goodbye to 2009

Good morning and Happy Sunday! It’s been a few weeks since our last snips and clips, with Sundays devoted to our holiday blog giveaway! 2009 is racing to a close and 2010 is just around the corner. It seems so hard to believe that we are a decade into the 21st century when we feared computers would crash as the dates rolled over from 1999 to 2000. It’s been a hard year, marked by profound change and loss. We bid farewell to so many celebrities this year. Personally, we said farewell to two wonderful pets, including our beloved Murray who […]

Sunday Snips & Clips: Thanksgiving, Theater and Thirteen

Happy week of Thanksgiving all! We are now in the thick of the holidays here at home. In addition to NaNoWriMo, the release of a novel, my daughter’s birthday, the American celebration of Thanksgiving happens this week and I have a lot to be thankful for this year. So let’s get to it. Thanksgiving I am thankful for my health, the health of my daughter and my husband. I am thankful for James William McCall, my husband’s grandfather who lived on this Earth for 98 years and though he passed from us in April, we are all blessed to have […]
