I grew up reading things like Greek Mythology, as well as Roman Mythology. While I preferred Greek, I knew that I wanted to do something more when I started writing. The gods were a sexist group with the men always being led around by their dangly parts, and the women turned into vengeful harpies for wanting their men to be faithful. Gods? Greek Gods? Gay Greek Gods? What was I thinking? I first was exposed to Greek mythology in Mrs. Green’s class in the fourth grade. Ever since then I’ve been enamored by the stories of Zeus, Ares, Hera, Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hades, and all the Olympians.
