The Pitfalls of Creating Your World

Writers create their own worlds with every book. The world may be close to our own, it may look very much like our own, but the addition of a fictional character is like metaphorically stepping on the butterfly — it changes everything. The Secret Life of Pantsers

Yesterday at the Dallas Area Romance Authors meeting (my first time), Kathleen Baldwin gave this great presentation on the secret life of a pantser. A pantser for those of you, who don’t know, is a writer who creates by the seat of their pants.
