Autumn is in the Air: The Ever Evolving Schedule

It’s autumn here in Texas, which means it’s wonderfully chill at night and sunshine warmth during the day. It’s the sanctuary from the too-often brutal heat of summer (although arguably it wasn’t that hot this summer).  Autumn brings with it the return to school and even better, the return of the fall television programming schedule. Sunday Snips and Clips: Book Winner and More

What a great week this has been. I got to meet a lot of great ladies at the DFW Tea book club and discovered a really wonderful antique shop. I saw G.I. Joe and it didn’t suck. I got to meet Sherrilyn Kenyon and was wowed by her warm personality and innate cheerfulness. We even got into a debate about paranormal romance versus urban fantasy and the power of definitions. Sunday Snips and Clips: Farewell Melissa, Hello School

It’s the first weekend of August, where has the summer escaped to already? My daughter goes back to school in just two weeks which means I can resume a proper writing schedule again. Not that I am knocking the summer writing schedule, I got a lot done. But I am definitely looking forward to eight hours a day devoted to regular writing both my freelance and my fiction.
