It’s Hot Top Tuesday, and I wanted to share with you a special nod to the releasing Green-Eyed Demon today and Sabina Kane.
I have to say, I was a little late to the Sabina Kane train, despite having purchased Red-Headed Stepchild on its release day in April 2009 (it was a happy birthday to me). I remember taking the book with me to the pool in early May, planning to read it while the mini-me was swimming, I also had a pile of research in my bag, thinking I’d start on a new story that was niggling in the back of my mind.
But the first two chapters of Red-Headed Stepchild put paid to that idea, cause not only had Jaye Wells done it first, she’d done it a whole lot better than the little imp of an idea wriggling in my head. Now here we are, two years later and today is the day Green Eyed Demon is supposed to show up at my house (come on UPS driver) and I wanted to share with you my top 10 reasons you should be reading Sabina Kane too.
|The Mage in Black|
If all of that was not enough, there are two other fantastic reasons to be reading about Sabina Kane:
9. Giguhl. Every character needs a great sidekick and Giguhl is so much more than a sidekick. He’s a mischief demon with a caravan of attitude to match that of his mistress.
10. Stories should not always be about the destination, but the journey and Sabina Kane’s journey is worth following with her.
