🩸 New to Blood Brothers? Start Here.

Looking for your next dark, emotional, action-packed reverse harem obsession? Blood Brothers delivers high stakes, intense romance, and a brotherhood forged by fire. Here’s everything you need to know before you dive in…

What is the Blood Brothers series about?
A woman on the run. Four men with dangerous pasts. One explosive connection. Blood Brothers is about survival, found family, and love that refuses to be limited. When one woman crosses paths with a group of former elite soldiers, everything changes—for her and for them.

Is this a reverse harem?
Yes—this is a slow-burn, high-emotion reverse harem romance. One woman, four fiercely loyal men, and no choosing necessary. The emotional bonds build alongside the physical ones, and trust is earned every step of the way.

How many books are there? Do I need to read them in order?
There are five books, and they tell one continuous story. You must read them in order to follow the full arc. It all begins with Burn and ends with a hard-fought, unforgettable happily-ever-after.

What kind of heroes are in this series?
Military-trained. Battle-scarred. Fiercely protective. Each of the Blood Brothers brings something different—strength, strategy, snark, or sweetness—but they all have one thing in common: they will burn the world down to protect what’s theirs.  There is also the bestest boy in the whole world in Goblin.

How dark does it get? Are there trigger warnings?
This series tackles heavy themes—trauma, violence, combat, captivity, and emotional wounds. But it also shows powerful healing, deep loyalty, and unbreakable love. Heather includes content warnings as needed in the forewords, so check them for specifics.

Is this connected to any of Heather’s other series?
You don’t need to read anything else first—this is a perfect entry point if you’re new to Heather’s work. This series is also a companion to the Bastard Brothers of Carnage by Blake Blessing (one of Heather’s cowriters) but you also do not have to have read that series first. While it shares the military romance vibe of Always a Marine, and story connections to Vandals, Bay Ridge Royals, Cardinal Sins, and looser connections to Untouchable and Blue Ivy Prep. You do not have to read any of these series as a prerequisite. Readers of the previous series will recognize characters etc.
