Emersyn and the Vandals are back…

November 21, 2024

It’s time to get dirty!

From the moment I cracked open the document to start on Dirty Dancer, I was once again deeply immersed into the world of Emersyn, the 82nd Street Vandals, and Braxton Harbor. Like old friends, they were so familiar and right there. It was a blast to spend time with each and every one of them. More, it was a gift to be able to take the time to develop some threads that needed more time to breathe.

As always, it’s a work in progress, and they are ready to meet all challenges head-on, especially Freddie who wants to push for so much more.Love. Family. Healing. Challenges abound. For the Vandals, it’s good to go home again. Mind the triggers as always they are listed in the foreword.

I have also included every bonus scene for the rest of the books in the series. Not all of them have introductions, but they are pretty much self-explanatory. As some readers have described, Dirty Dancer is a love letter to the Vandals and to the epic journey they have been on since the fateful day they “kidnapped” her from the show. While in many ways this will be the final book for Em and her guys, I will never say never again.

There’s a very strong chance to see them appearing in a future series. As always, happily ever after for me is not the end of the story. It’s always a work in progress, and the Vandals are living their dream.
